What is the Taj Kreuzer's Speedfest?
The Speedfest is an annual series of automotive themed events that bring together hard core automobile enthusiasts with normal people who just want to have a good time for a good cause.
The Speedfest board meets at the Taj Ma Garage ® Porsche Museum/Banquet facility in downtown Dayton under the direction of John Dixon the proprietor and plans events year round.
To date over $327,000 has been raised for local charities and with your help we'll do more.

The old Taj is opening the vaults, dragging out the good stuff and you can be there! Significant Porsche road cars turned out of Stuttgart will be represented and on display. Magnificent 356's, heart stopping 911's, jaw dropping water pumpers and... a tractor? Well, after all, this is Ohio.
Porsche automobilia out the wazoo!: posters, art, sculpture, toys, tools, the list of eye candy goes on and on.
Preregistration of $10 gets you in the door and you will receive a raffle ticket good for a unique and
authentic piece of car art done by Dayton's very own ,"The Egyptian ".
Winner need not be present to win.

Come to the Taj and enjoy wine and food samples from around the world as some of the ares finest regional cuisine specialists will be on hand pairing their foods with great wines in celebration of the Gallo family's 75th anniversary.
This is not your father's wine....the most finicky aficionado will be pleased as well as the oeneophytes (wine rookies) among us.
If you preregister, the cost is only $20 and the tasting will be from 7PM until 10PM. If that wasn't enough, there will be door prizes, silent auction items and some rare BMW's to compliment The Taj's primary vehicles on display. Call a buddy and sign up today !

OF RACE CARTS LEFT!
Have you ever wanted to race? Now is your chance!
Don't miss out on the fun while raising money for charity:
Daybreak, the Ronald McDonald House, the Wellness Connection.
Come join nearly 50 other businesses and groups as they race on a
professionally designed course on the streets surrounding the
Fraze Pavilion in Kettering on Saturday, May 24th.
Several races
throughout the day give teams the opportunity to allow multiple
drivers the opportunity to race while the rest of the team helps
with driver changes and pit stops. Safety and camaraderie have
been hallmarks of the event thanks to the professional race
officials and workers that volunteer to keep the event running
smoothly and efficiently.
To join in the fun, you need to purchase the go cart, which you
then own and can use for other promotional purposes, for $1250.
Then simply pay the fully tax deductible 2008 entry fee of $1750.

Our founding event will be held at Kettering's beautiful Lincoln Park.
This low key car show will feature Porsches and sports cars of all types displayed in a unique valley setting for incredible panoramic views of the worlds
most beautiful cars. Venue also includes: food court, vendor area, permanent restroom facilities, Public shelters, children's activity area and more.
Preregister for $0 and receive a dash plaque.
Preregister for $10 and we'll feed and clothe you. You will receive an event tee shirt and a ticket good for
your choice of a hot dog or a slice of pizza, bag of chips and a 20 oz. Pepsi product in addition to a dash
plaque.
Or simply show up the day of the Car Show with your sled.

The 120 mile Covered Bridge Family Driving Tour will bring you to the remaining seven covered bridges in Preble County, Ohio. We will stop at every covered bridge with amble time for pictures and conversation.
The drive will take you through scenic farm land. Most of the farms were established over 250 years ago. Lunch stop is at the picturesque 'Roberts' double barrel bridge park in Eaton, Ohio. There are only seven 'double barrel' covered bridges left in the U.S.
The tour will conclude by 3:00 PM, about two miles from I-70. Further details will be sent to participants once they register.

The 2008 Road Warriors 1-Oh-5 Whirled Tour will be similar to last years. The course will be run in some new areas with "echoes" of the past. As we did last year, there will be questions. Your job will be to find the answers that will be found along the course. John Dixon has some special awards for the winners.
Registration will be at White-Allen European Auto Group on SR 741 starting at 9:00 am with the first car leaving at 10:00 am.
