| Owners Notes: |
Always a black sheep, "Rev. Jaaackson can you help us?" The 928 was never fully accepted by the Porsche®
faithful. What you say, a water-cooled engine in the front? And I can buy a 930 for the same money?
You get the picture.
This car was the first sports car ever named as the "car of the decade." If you had to get from New York
to LA in a hurry, this is the car that we at the Taj would select. So would Derek Bell, as he owns one and
calls it "a magnificent car". It's a safe bet to assume that Mr. Bell could drive any Porsche® he wanted
too.
It set world records, engineering standards and ergonomics that are still being imitated today.
So much in fact, that Porsche® has been rumored to be working on a second generation
928, now that liquid cooled powerplants have been accepted by modern day Porschephiles®.
This particular car has only 21K on it's odometer and is equipped with dual A/C and the rare factory five speed.
It has been reported that only 8% - 12% of all 928s built were equipped with manual transmissions. The Taj is fortunate
to be the car's third owner. We have a penchant for cast offs that have more curves than a Tennessee back road.
And this one will soon be of legal age here in Ohio. We have checked the birth certificate.
