Owners Notes:
It isn't often that we at the Taj are left without words to describe anything. Volumes have been written about the 550 Spyder in all of its configurations. Although ninety Spyders were built, they differed from car to car. No two cars were the same. Porsche® was relentless towards the improvement of the 550 platform. The fledgling manufacturer could ill afford to produce a car that was less than the now renowned writing "Excellence Was Expected" would suggest.

Even by today's standards, the 550 Spyder is still a hallmark of racing technology with its seamless tubular frame and lightweight aluminum body.

The Tajmeisters are unable to do justice with any verbiage to pay homage to this historic engineering tour de force. As the caretakers of so many great Porsche® vehicles, we are more than grateful that Mr. Jim Perrin called us first. We should have bought a lottery ticket the same day that the phone rang.

History:

Jim Perrin Jim and his lovely wife are and have been great keepers of the Porsche® flame. The gratitude the Taj holds for the opportunity to be a part of the continuing history of # 0067 is indescribable. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Jim Perrin. The Taj will leave it to other better-informed sources to tell you about this "dragon killer". Regardless of the number of adjectives, they all come up a little short as far as we are concerned.
